TRY Marine Services Team of Qualified and Experienced Service Engineers provides Annual & 5-Yearly Inspection and Maintenance Servicing of Lifeboat, Rescue Boat and Launching Appliances in accordance with MSC 402(96). We are equipped with necessary equipment to conduct load tests and on-voyage repairs in the India.

• Sprinkler system, where fitted
• Maneuvering system.

• Bailing system.
• Release Gear
• Operational test of on-load/off-load/free-fall release function

Key Davit Checks Include:

• Davit structure, in particular with regard to corrosion, misalignments, deformations and excessive free play.
• Wires and sheaves, possible damages such as kinks and corrosion.
• Lubrication of wires, sheaves, and moving parts.
• Functioning of limit switches.
• Stored power systems.
• Hydraulic systems.

Key Winch Checks Include:

• Open and inspect the brake mechanism.
• Replace brake pads, if necessary.
• Remote control system.
• Power supply system.
• Winch foundation.

Dynamic Winch Brake Test:

When the boat has reached its maximum lowering speed and before the boat enters the water, the brake should be abruptly applied.

• Annual: Using an empty boat or equivalent load on the davit/winch system.
• 5 Yearly: Loading boat to a proof load equal to 1.1 times the weight of the survival craft or rescue boat and its full complement of persons and equipment, or equivalent load.
